do i have low standards?

i like RE4 and MP3, ut i also found games like Red steel and heatseaker to be great games. do i have low standards, or is GS just full of it?do i have low standards?

I have Mario Party 4 - 6 and Mario Party 8 at my house and those games didn't score so well. They CAN be enjoyable...

but in reality, my brothers wanted the games, so I bought them...so I guess THEY decide what I buy :P
Gamespot are critics, Im sure you could take almost any game you played and find something about it to pick holes in and if not then its a great game indeed (every now and again one comes along). I wouldn't say you have low standards, I can also enjoy a game with out somebody else telling me whether I should like it. You may just be the sort of person that can appreciate games which you should consider yourself lucky for :) the people who can't enjoy games which aren't AAA gamespot hitters can't be having as much fun as you.

Anyone can play any game and say that he likes it despite what others say.there are a lot of factors to judge if a game is truly good but noone of them can replace the feeling you will have about a game.videogames are fun so if you like a game simply play it and not bother to look what score it got.

I'm sure there are plenty of games I like that other people would vomit trying to play through. Everyone has their own personal preferences.

Its called opinion, everyone has one and everyone has their tastes, i personally hated Heatseeker, but Red Steel is kinda fun, i like games like Excite Truck %26 DBZ BT2 while many people hate these.
