does anyones super paper mario keep free ...

im on chapter 2 now and have just reached the mansion/hotel where i have to find someone in one of the rooms.  ive searched the three rooms on the first level, then the girl outside tells me to look in the first room on the bottom floor.  when i go to talk to the girl again, the game freezes and i cant get any further.  has anyone else had this problem too;.  if not ill contact nintendo and see what they say.  Any advice people.  i thought it might be the tvs display mode but i changed that and it hasnt made a difference... thanksdoes anyones super paper mario keep free ...
If you had looked through the first pages of thread topics on this and the game board you would seen this was a known issue on the pal version. Change the language to German and you can sidestep the bug till Nintendo makes replacement discs. does anyones super paper mario keep free ...
thanks anyway.  ive tried changing it to german and it dont work.  ill look for the other thread anyway.  thanks for the help
There is another sidestep around it listed in one of the other threads. You don't need to talk to mimi at all.
I had this problem too. Dont talk to Mimi, go to the room where the spiked ceiling falls on you and flip into 3d. Jump onto spikes etc and get get key at top of room.
