Nintendo's online plan in a nut shell

.I thought mario kart was as bad as nintnedo could do, and it was still pretty fun, but now nintendo has taken the last inch of humanity out of online gaming and we're left with what IS a human version of a bot.Nintendo's online plan in a nut shell
Get the FC of the other people you want to play, write on the Wii message boards if you want to contact them. I'm not going to chat while I'm playing and I don't care about that. Nintendo's online plan in a nut shell
dude thank you you are like a god you expressed all what i wanted to say into a picture :D a picture does say a 1000 words and it is true a human bot :D
Get the FC of the other people you want to play, write on the Wii message boards if you want to contact them. I'm not going to chat while I'm playing and I don't care about that.
Your humanity while online is a very important part of playing an online opponent rather than playing a bot, you'd know that if you'd played a real online game. Friends codes is only good for people you are already tlaking to, peopleyou already know, and can probably just move 5 feet to a computer to talk with. I shouldn't have to wait for people to come online, extrange 12 digit codes, both plan the htiting of a button at the exact same time, and wait to have some human qualities when fighting a human.
SSBB has the friend bookmarks... it also has customizable taunts...Also, regardless of how much you actually interact with the person on the other end, there is no experience that a computer can produce that is on par with a human player...human players react in creative ways, make mistakes, take advantage of game mechanics, etc.Playing a computer will never yield the same experience. I'll be glad to play with random people I'll never meet as long as the experience is still there...I've played loads of real online games...Games that are only available to play in multiplayer online...The human experience is there without voicechat or messaging or friend codes at all...A lot can be said without saying anything at all...P.S. this is treading dangerously close to SW territory...
Yeah, one of the reasons I love MPH is becasue you can go onto gamespot, exchange FCs, then play each other and *gasp*! Have himan interaction with them. But seriously, with games on Xbox Live, you're almost almways gonna have douchebags cussing you out for killing them, so sometimes the limited interaction isn't all that bad.

Problem is, that's a friends only option, a problem explained above.
Yeah, one of the reasons I love MPH is becasue you can go onto gamespot, exchange FCs, then play each other and *gasp*! I don't think there will ever be an online game for the Wii that has no flaws what so ever. =\
Well said.
you wear a helmet to ride a bicycle?! hahahaseriously though...you're being way to dramatic about a system you probably don't even own...

couldnt agree with you more. this is really disheartening
false information, you dont have links supporting all this , you probably an xbox fan so get out , none the less we dont care to type during gameplay, and im quite sure nintendo will have voice options in later games , heck mkwii isnt even out yet and you of course have not played any inch of it to know anything of how the online will work yes we know its 1-16 players thats about all we know do us all a favor and get proof or get back to the xbox360 or ps forums
How cute, you must have just waken up. From sakurai himself:
''You can also battle with people you don't know who are looking for brawls. The most important point here is that you will not know each other's names.Your opponent will not know your name or any information about you, and neither of you can send short messages. There will also be no battle records kept for this mode''This is what nintnedo should make asonline random battles:

This is what we have:

If I'm not mistaken i think that Smash Bros. Dojo said that they still have more online services to announce. I think they said something like this: ''We're planning a number of services that make use of Wi-Fi, but we'll reveal them gradually with the other modes. Enjoy.''

So you can't really know what SSBB's online is like until they announce it later.
wow you guys are the biggest Nintendo fanboys you go along with nintendo for EVERYTHING i mean come on... sometimes you have to say that was a really bad idea nintendo please rethink it

I trust Nintendo will see the problems without any voicechat at all and will work to reprimand it. Nintendo IS, after all, the most experienced game developer in existence, after Atari.
