Quick Question...

Can I still receive messages even though my Wii is turned off... i mean when the little light is red not yellow. I don't want to leave it on standby/Wiiconnect24 mode 'cause im afraid it'll over-heat. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.Quick Question...
People can still send messages to you, but you will not receive then until you have WiiConnect24 on for awhile.Quick Question...
Just leave it on standby, it will not overheat, Nintendo designed the Wii to not overheat. It should be fine, my Wii is always on and I don't think I've ran into any problems yet. It should be pretty warm, but not like scorching hot. It won't overheat, if you leave it on standby connected to WiiConnect24 and it's too hot to touch it, then you got a problem. If you can touch it without going ''ow!'', it should be fine.
I always leave it on too. I like to have the messages already there when I turn it on :)

unless you absolutely need to read messages as soon as you get them...then no, you don't have to leave it on standby mode. I leave mine off because I discovered wii24 is useless to me and because I'd rather have my wii cool than hot

but you can leave it on without worrying.
