Grainy Wii

well the name says it all... for some reason my WII picture is grainy (or snowy (or w/e its called)) Im seeing long black streaks on the picture, whether its on the main menu or in game. it looks like an old black and white movie... in colour.Ive seen people talk about this before, but Ive never actually seen a solution, so if anyone can tell me what it is, or how to fix it, Id bevery appreciative.ThanksGrainy Wii
Make sure all of the cords are pluged in all the way and if that does not work you probly have to call Nintendo to get it fixed. I had the same problem but they were nice about it and it was really easy. Grainy Wii
I think your Wiihas been overheated (it's a faulty Wii, in other words). Call Nintendo, and they will send you a new one (if you have the warranty).

From what I hear, I'd say your Wii overheated and your GPU got pretty fried. Call Nintendo: 1-800-255-3700 I hope that helps.:)
Does the snow appear only when playing wii or also when watching tv?If it appears during watching tv then it will be your cables plugged into your tv (the red white and yellow ones) dont know which one does the image.If only during wii playing then like everyone else said call nintendo
