I thought this was supposed to be a budget release as it was simply a remake with Wii controls?Linkhttp://www.play.com/Games/Wii/4-/3350004/Resident-Evil-4/Product.html?cur=258RE4 $30 in U.S. Why $55 in Europe?
Things cost more or less overseas depening on what the item is. I wish it was more complex but it's not lolRE4 $30 in U.S. Why $55 in Europe?
we also earn more in comparison. in the US the minimum wage is around $5 while here in the UK is slightly over ? which equals to about $10.

The exchange rate isn't always good for comparing currencies' value.
minimum wage is higher in britain because we are more civilised than america. Also higher taxes on goods to pay for services such as the NHS. Britain maybe expenisve, but its a great place to live.
Yer i love living in England :) Only downside is the way more expensive games and hardware than the US :(

If your socialized healtcare system is so great, why does England have private hospitals? (same thing in Canada) Why would people pay for healtcare if they can get it for free, unless the ''free'' healthcare sucks?
Plus, you get a cooler boxart for it.

And why i say treatment i mean illnesses that are not life threatening. Anyways id much rather pay higer taxes and havea NHS thanhave less tax and no national health service. It also makes England unique its one of the only countrys left in the World to provide free health care. Be grateful, if you ever came to England on holiday and needed hospital treatment it would be free for you :) :P
Private is four or five star hospital treatment that costs less then what you would get in the states for one star or two star treatment. Jay Leno mentioned the cost of such private hospital treatment and he was shocked that it was just a few grand and they apologized for it. In the states it would have been in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Free healthcare is three star treatment that in the states often bankrupts people or they die because they cannot afford it.
Private hospitals are for thoose who want and can afford it,
If your taxes were lower, everyone could afford it. The free-market can provide almost any service for a lower price, and with better quality, than a governent beauracracy.

If the NHS was dropped and taxes were lowered alot of people would still not be able to afford the only available treatment that would be private treatment. And then would come the actual shortage of hospitals, with only private being available. I was in hospital with NHS last year and i got a fantastic service.

Well you get more benefits so it evens out. One way or the other you are going to pay but quite frankly people would rather buy five dollars or twenty dollars more on certain luxury goods rather then going bankrupt or having a family die because they couldn't afford to pay for medical care. Half of all bankruptices in the states are because of medical bills.
