SD card help!

I have a 1GB SD card in my Wii. What can I do with it? I tried copying my VC games onto it to save system storage, but nothing worked. Is it just for save games?SD card help!
did it get reconize? you should be able to copy VC games.SD card help!
yeah i can, but when i do, i cant see them on my channels anymore.
Did you do the firmware update as the manual says you have to in order to use the sd card?
It's because the SD cards are made for storage. As of now they can't be used to play Virtual Console games off of them.
Yeah, and it works for save games, just not the games on my SD
yeah i can, but when i do, i cant see them on my channels anymore.
Exactly.
DryvBy2: hmmmmm... you CAN NOT play games from the SD card. So far (hopefully this would change) SD card is just for storage, to be able to play the games you have there (at least those of the VC) you ahve to copy them back to your console. Also you should known, that if i`m not mistaken, when you copy the VC games into a SD card, you would lose the restore point created my the Wii system as well as the save file of that game.
On the games you would lose the restore point it informs you and asks you to confirm the transfer. You don't lose the game's ordinary saves.
