I don't know if a thread like this has already been posted, but is the announcement of Smash going online the september surprise? Cause if it is, i'm very disappointed.Always had a strong feeling that they had no other choice then making it online.Smash online = September surprise?
no no no if the surprise that we've been waiting for Nintendo would probably announce it somewhere just wait till the end of the monthSmash online = September surprise?
thank, big relief!!
is there realy going to be a september suprise or did some random person make this up?
is there realy going to be a september suprise or did some random person make this up?
No one made it up, Reggie said at E3 that there would be a september suprise, whether it's that Check Mii Out channel or something we don't even know about, we should find out within the next week.
It wouldn't be much of a surprise since it has allready been confirmed as online for over a year.
It wouldn't be much of a surprise since it has allready been confirmed as online for over a year.
no, they said they wanted to make it online, and there was a ton of speculation. this is the first time it's been confirmed.
Brawl online is a huge september surprise the only better one could be a headset. I mean this annoucement tokk a game i would have picked up at the bargain bin in a year for half the price (without online)to a game I pre-ordered and might possibly be my most anticapated game ever (with online) so this is a huge september surprise for me way better than what i thought it would be (some stupid check mii out channel).
I'm starting to think the surprise might have something to do with the site overhaul on Nintendo.com. Hopefully no matter what it's suppose to be we'll find out soon.
...I think the surprise will be that snake was a joke and no 3rd party characters will be in the gamehey he hasnt been in no updates yet so far on the site...makes you wonder...

I was wondering about this too, thanks for the clarification..

Has to be a new channell...
It better be a god damn headset. The ds has one ffs why the hell not wii? A headset for brawl would be nice and a headset for games such as Bwii is NEEDED.
Brawl online is a huge september surprise the only better one could be a headset.
That's the only thing that could be better than SSBB being online? I'm not so sure about that.Anyway, this whole ''September surprise'' thing comes from a conversation about Wii Channels. To refresh everyone's memory, Reggie was asked when Nintendo was going to start taking advantage of WiiConnect24, new channels, and the like. Reggie answered that Check Mii Out is coming, and that they ''still have plans,'' and we'll know by the end of September. It's vague, yes, but it seems to me like it will be something having to do with either the channels or WiiConnect24 in general. Remember that ''WiiConnect24'' simply describes the Wii's ability to communicate with the internet even when the system is in idle; it doesn't necessarily refer to the Wii's total online system, which is usually referred to as the ''Nintendo WiFi Connection'' that also encompasses the DS.I'm not sure a headset would fall under the WiiConnect24 umbrella, and it's hard to speculate because that umbrella is so big, yet so untapped at this point. I honestly don't have my hopes too high; this is Nintendo we're talking about. But at the same time, we all know that there is potential here.
the sept surprise will be WAY bigger than that
guys is not going to be a headset because he said that the surprise is going to be with the wiiconnect 24 thingy, not a headset, or a game, is gonna be check me out or a new channel
