---,
Hello, everyone- I haven't touched my Nintendo Wii for sometime (at least a good month or two..for numerous reasons, honestly.)..Today, just now actually, I turned on my Wii and was disturbed to notice/hear a sound similar to a CD being placed into an older CD player [Ha, you know the ''Errrhmmm..'' sound. ha, hmph..]..and, since it's been so long since I last played it I can't recall ever hearing this sound previously. I've owned this system since Christmas..
My question is, obviously, is this normal/does this sound occupy your Nintendo Wii as well?
Hm, thank you for your time.
On such simple notes.-
.
Edit: Oh, also..there's no Disc in the drive at the moments of starting it up- however, there was one when I first turned it on today.Wii Start Up/Turning off Sound(s)?
I never hear anything or maybe I just to use to it, I dont knowWii Start Up/Turning off Sound(s)?
It's normal.
If it sounds like disc reading sound its normal, if you upgrade your Wii, you just hear it once (I don't remeber if it was when you turn it on/off), so relax.
I think mine makes a really low clicking noise. I'm not sure *turns on wii. Nope, I was wrong. it makes a whirring noise for a few seconds.
I never heard anything wrong with mine.
---,
Ha, thank you everyone[!]. I was getting extremely nervous; it does mean much, your response(s).
My WII started off with a whirring sound, then after a few weeks it started making clicking noises in the drive. Now everytime I put a disc in it gives me an error mesage to eject disc and turn off the power.I just sent it in to be repaired so keep an eye on it.It may get worse.
