I'm not sure about SSBB, Nintendo keeps avoiding questions about it. And there will be a bunch of people who say ''they comfirmed online in 2006!!!!1!!!1!!!'' but won't guve you a link, just a heads up. And Metroid won't have online.

Sry Rocky it has been confirmed since May of last year.

I just read an interview of Reggie on MTV.news. When asked about Brawl's online he stated that there was no mention of Brawl's online at E3 because they didn't want to focus too much on the game at their press conference. He didn't confirm or deny online for SSBB, so I guess we'll just have to wait for more news.
it not confirm but that interview and also another interview he would not answer the question will super smash brother brawl be online he smiled and refused to answers and he said a new online game will come out but he did not say this year or next

Saying over a year ago that they'd like to put online in the game is nowhere near a confimation. There's tons of things they'd like to do but not all of those get done. I have a question for you: if it has already been confirmed then why didn't Reggie just say ''Yes, Brawl will be online'' when MTV asked him directly? Instead he said that they haven't announced anything yet. He then went on to avoid a direct answerby explaining the game's absence at E3. He also laughed and looked a bit nervous at the question. All signs are pointing to no online.Mario Kart isn't coming out until next year and they came out and talked about it's online openly. Why not the same treatment for Brawl, a game that is coming out in mere months?
For those worried about Wi Fi, stop worring about it. If it's one thing I have learned about games is not expect anything. It will make said game the more delectable when it comes out. I know those are a few people like, moveingtarget that won't even glance at the game if it doesn't have Wi Fi. For those people you have my sympathy because you will miss out on a fun fighting game.
We don't know if it will have online support. They said they are planning on it which DOES NOT confirm it like most people think. Although I'm 90% sure it will have online, we will not know until Nintendo comes right out and says it. Magazines and IGN can say whatever the hell they want, they do not know if it is confirmed.

g4 confirmed it was online at this years e3. go to g4tv.com and enter ssbb online (or something like that) in the search bar thingy. (cant give u a link since i'm writing this on my wii). whether or not u believe g4 as a reliable source is ur perogative.
